To say Tomorrowland has been an important player in the growth of electronic music to mainstream culture would be a considerable understatement. The epic journey which started from humble beginnings has evolved into the most anticipated event in the summer calendar, welcoming tens of millions through its gates in Boom Belgium over the years.
To mark their 15th anniversary in style, Belgium’s Tomorrowland will for the first time ever head to Amsterdam Dance Event for a special show at the prestigious Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on the 17th (Thursday) and 18th (Friday) of October, both nights having the same acts and kicking off from 7PM – 11:30PM.
Our Story will take visitors on a magical journey through 15 years of Tomorrowland’s musical history with the most iconic electronic Tomorrowland classics. The lineup for Tomorrowland’s 15th anniversary is not your average ADE show. Both nights will showcase the talents of some of the biggest dance music acts in the world such as Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Goose, Netsky, Push, Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots and Tïësto. These acts will be supported by the Metropole Orchestra.
The Metropole Orchestra’s academy is made up of the most talented students from The Netherlands and Belgium. They performed a special rendition at Tomorrowland made specifically for the 15th anniversary
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike: “It’s only logical that we are going to ADE for Tomorrowland’s 15th anniversary! ADE is the place to be in our industry, and everyone comes together that one week in October: DJs, label partners, music professionals and lovers, … We are really looking forward to playing our iconic tracks during Our Story. It’s going to be real madness!”
Debby Wilmsen of Tomorrowland: “We have been working hard on the show in the past months together with the DJs and the Metropole Orchestra and everything is coming together now. It will be a full evening program with DJs that will share their personal memories of Tomorrowland through their hits. We will put on a three-hour spectacle for all ages where dancing will be inevitable. Fortunately, dancing is possible everywhere, including in the stands.”
