After months of speculation and high-level discussions with the Thai government, the rumours have finally been put to rest. Tomorrowland has officially announced that it will bring its iconic festival experience to Thailand in 2026, marking the brand’s first dedicated entry into the Asian market.
While government officials and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) have been hinting at the partnership for some time, this week marks the first direct confirmation from the festival organisers themselves. The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place from December 11 to 13, 2026.
The festival will be held at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, located in the Chonburi Province. The expansive 237-acre site is set to welcome over 50,000 attendees per day. Tomorrowland has confirmed that the venue will host several spectacular stages, including the Asian debut of the beloved CORE and Freedom stages, alongside new designs created specifically for the local setting.
This expansion is the result of a confirmed partnership between the festival organisation, the Thai Government, and the TAT. Bruno Vanwelsenaers, CEO of WEAREONE.world, noted, “Expanding Tomorrowland to a new continent is a milestone we approach with great respect and excitement. Thailand feels like the right place, not only because of its beauty and energy, but also because of the shared ambition to create something meaningful and world-class together. This is the beginning of a long-term story. The team in Belgium will work with a local team of 40 people in Thailand”.
For the Thai authorities, the event is seen as a major driver for the creative economy. A representative from the Tourism Authority of Thailand expressed that hosting the festival is a milestone in positioning the country as a global leader in experience-driven tourism.
Unlike the Belgian edition, Tomorrowland Thailand will not feature a DreamVille camping experience. Instead, organisers will offer a range of hotel packages with shuttle services. Ticket sales are set to move quickly, with pre-registration opening on January 8, 2026. The Hotel Packages Sale will follow on February 28, 2026, with the general WorldWide Ticket Sale launching on March 7, 2026.
With established festivals in Europe and South America, this move into Asia represents a significant new chapter for the electronic music giant, promising to turn Pattaya into a global dance music hub next December.
