Made up of two highly talented brothers, TWO LANES is not only an up-and-coming artist but a preview for the future of electronic music as well. Raising in Berlin, the brothers took different paths to find their passion for music. Throughout his childhood, Leo showed serious interest in playing the piano and learning about classical works. He studied some of the most revered composers in history, such as JS Bach, Schumann, and Debussy. After attending The Julliard School in NYC, Leo had the knowledge and skills to be one of the greats.
Meanwhile, Rafael, the other half of the duo, explored the endless possibilities of electronic music and production. His experimentation in sound design led him to discover his own unique style as a producer. Together, the two brothers are clearly a force to be reckoned with. They have merged their talents and creative minds to formulate breathtakingly songs that encompass melodic techno, ambient sounds, and neoclassical elements.
With TWO LANES first headlining tour in North America on the horizon, they continue to captivate their audience via their new single “Left Behind”. Featuring gifted artist Panama, “Left Behind” was forged by the collaborators sending samples and suggestions back and forth until the track was ready to be made public.
Opening with lyrics that soothingly echo out, “Left Behind” incorporates a myriad of delicately crafted synths throughout. Panama wastes no time showcasing his incredible voice as the song drives the message of having to make sacrifices to reach your desired destination in life. TWO LANES intricately blends acoustic guitar and hypnotic drums to further give off the relaxing aura of the track.
