Returning For A 23rd Edition, Ultra Music Festival Drops Legendary Phase 1 Lineup For Miami

Following last year’s sell-out crowd of 165,000 attendees from over 100 different countries, Ultra Music Festival is back at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The flagship event has announced that it will take place from Friday, March 24 – Sunday, March 26, 2023, with global phenom Swedish House Mafia as the overall headliner.

The Phase 1 lineup has just been revealed and couldn’t be more exciting. Leading the charge, SHM is making another Ultra appearance after their historic unexpected Main Stage revival in 2018. Spending the last couple of months displaying their new album Paradise Again throughout North America, the trio will take their tour to Europe this fall.

Arguably the most anticipated acts consist of revolutionary artist deadmau5. The super-duo Kx5, made up of Kaskade and deadmau5, will debut at Ultra. Get ready to hear viral singles like “Escape” featuring Hayla along with tracks for their first album together, slotted to release sometime in 2023. Showcasing his diverse expertise in sound design and DJing, deadmau5 will be transformed into his techno alias Testpilot, performing a world debut back-to-back set with Oliver Helden’s alter ego HI-LO.

Another Ultra inauguration will be Oliver Heldens b2b Tchami. The two artists have had crucial roles at Ultra over the years, now joining forces for a set of house heaters. On the more underground side of house and techno, Ultra’s famous project RESISTANCE will take place across two stages: The Megastructure and The Cove. Among the wide range of global talent, Eric Prydz will exhibit his technology-infused HOLO show for a first-time Megastructure performance. Gifted British producer and DJ Carl Cox will contribute to hosting the Megastructure as well.

In regards to the Cove Stage, West Coast-based underground tech house label Dirtybird will be running the show, with label boss Claude VonStroke at the peak of the takeover. Complementing the Cove Stage, Vintage Culture will follow up his historic set with Claptone last year with a house set of his own.

Representing the heavy bass side of EDM, innovative artists like Subtronics, Ganja White Night, and Kayzo will be dropping haymakers of dubstep, riddim, and wubz. Additionally, REZZ will deliver a mesmerizing visual and auditory experience with her hypnotic original productions.

Hitting the stage along with these bassheads, the stellar Phase 1 lineup has plenty of additional top-tier acts, such as CloZee, trance guru Armin van Buuren, Grimes, Gryffin, Hardwell, and Martin Garrix. Also preparing for memorable sets is Tale Of Us, Timmy Trumpet, Zedd, and Gigantic NGHTMRE, which is the hybrid of electronic veterans Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE.

With so many thrilling acts to be seen at Ultra Music Festival 2023, this festival will be the most historic weekend of music for the entire year. Don’t miss the chance to witness breathtaking performances from your favorite artists all weekend long.
