Ultra Music Festival To Leave Miami For New Home After 20 Years

Ultra respond to the uphill battle they have had with local government, councils as well the disappointing feedback from this year’s attendees regarding the new location at Virginia Key, by officially announcing that they will be seeking a more well-suited venue in 2020 outside of the Bay Area where they have called home since 1999.

Included in their announcement Ultra mention they have terminated their license with the City Of Miami, this closes the book on the week-long Winter Music Conference and ends their tumultuous relationship with the City in recent years. Ultra did say thanks to Miami for the past 20 years, while also teasing a new South Florida home that “shined far above” the other offers that have come in over the many years.

We’re excited to see what’s next for Ultra, venue details and information on tickets should be expected soon.
