Wax Motif, real name Danny Chien is a LA based Australian DJ, Producer and the host of “House Of Wax” Radio show. He has grown a reputation as one the most innovative purveyors of deeper dark sounds of house and also happens to be one of the friendliest names in the game. So today we’re more than excited to present you with his newest offering “WET” released via Diplo’s Mad Decent.

Teasing this slice of house goodness at his sold-out show at LA’s Academy and now famed EDC Artcar set – which many shared was their favourite of the weekend, on top of a recent tour of China with Tiesto’s label Musical Freedom and dates all over the US. He’s well and truly road-tested this infectious gem and fans have been impatiently waiting it’s release since the moment it beamed from the speakers.

Often credited as one of the early pioneers of G House, Wax Motif has been steadily ascending the ranks with growing demand for his club oriented sounds. To date he’s collaborated with Destructo, Tommy Trash, Pusha T, Starrah and Hunter Siegel among many others as a producer behind the scenes. His music has landed releases on labels such as Deadbeats, Fools Gold, Musical Freedom, Confession, Night Bass and he’s graced the stages of EDC, HARD Summer, Day of the Dead, Holy Ship, Stereosonic, and Splendor in the Grass.

2019 is the year of the Wax so stay tuned and hit repeat on WET if you know whats good for you.
