Felece Tillman’s story kicks off in Washington, D.C., where she first fell in love with jazz and soul music. Growing up, she prides herself on growing up with lively local music scene that got her hooked on singing from an early age.
Her passion had her land at Duke Ellington School of the Arts and later to Virginia Union University, where she really sharpened her skills in vocal performance and music theory.
In those early days, Felece was singing at local spots and jamming with jazz bands, gaining the kind of experience that helped shape who she is today. Eventually, her career took off, and she found herself performing on stages all over the world, winning over audiences with her incredible four-octave soprano voice.
Her debut EP, “Soulful Tales,” is a five-track journey through her own personal music history.
The project is super personal—it’s all about love, heartbreak, and finding yourself again, told through Felece’s vivid storytelling.
Each track has its own vibe, whether it’s the nostalgic feel of “I Can’t Forget” or the cozy warmth of rekindled love in “Just When I Thought.” Felece worked closely with producer DaMone Arnold to make sure every track feels genuine and personal, each one capturing an important piece of her life.
Felece has already turned heads with her earlier singles, “Brighter Love” and “Tell Me All About It,” which got her noticed in both the US and the UK. She’s performed at legendary spots like Blues Alley and The Carlyle Club, leaving her mark in the best way she knows how.
