Many artists in today’s music struggle to master all areas within the industry. However, one project that has managed to excel in all things visual and auditory when it comes to EDM is Worlds Apart. Sharing the same artistic vision, this gifted trio is made up of Lorenzo, Jason, and Ashley. Representing the visual side of electronic music, Ashley focuses on creating music videos, photographic arts, and other similar elements for the group. In regard to mixing and mastering, Jason is the production wizard in Worlds Apart. Together, him and Lorenzo, the collective’s primary DJ, compose each track and work on the sound design for it.
With each member fulfilling a role, Worlds Apart has been able to release tracks on well-known labels, such as The Soul, Glitch Records, and Blanco y Negro Music. Their newest release is a collaborative single with Lesperado called “Into The Night”. Speaking on the celestial track, Worlds Apart says, “I once had a dream that lasted for what felt like eternity. Within that dream I was confronted with my greatest fears, and I was forced to face each of them – one by one. But yet as I stood face to face with my fear and looked into its eyes, I realized there was nothing there. Each one, an illusion of an image of a dark idea that existed only within the mind, shattered when confronted with the light of the truth.”
This philosophical quote paints a vivid picture to its reader, just as “Into The Night” does to its listeners. It contains invigorating sequences of dubstep and lush melodies capable of putting any audience in a trance. Intertwined with the electrifying soundscapes are alluring vocals that lift the spirit. Worlds Apart kicks off 2023 with a ton of momentum via the gripping vibes emitting from “Into The Night”.
