Worlds Collide in “Fallin” by Alex Tales and Gino Holroyd

Aside from the language barrier, French and English rap share many similarities. Alex Tales was born in France but always had an affinity for American hip-hop. That inspiration becomes clear in his latest track on Emprise Records alongside Gino Holroyd.

The track begins with the hook distorted, setting the tone for something completely different then what we’ve heard before. Axel Logan brings his best on production duties – injecting a fantastic dynamic bassline that rivals the best from the EDM sphere. Alex and Gino play off each other perfectly as they sing and rap about the collapse of their worlds. The result is anything but generic.
