Yaat: Hong Kong’s Most Exciting Rising Star 

Gearing up to take over the dance music industry, Yaat is a fresh alias for the established Hong Kong-based producer Yaman, who switched his style from harder bass music genres to tech house, psy-slap, and pop. Yaat’s previous alias Yaman has already worked with some of the industry’s biggest names, including China’s acclaimed rapper Dough-Boy. His debut release “Jenny from the Block” has gone viral on SoundCloud and Hypeddit, with over 3,000 downloads, thanks to the help of monkmafia.io, a new NFT platform, which raised over $13,500 for 20% royalties of the song.

Following the success of his debut release, Yaat collaborated with UK producer DC13 for “Crave Your Love,” an infectious pop-club tune that showcases their talent in crafting engaging melodies and grooves. The track has amassed is closing in on 500k streams since its release. Yaat and monkmafia.io also recently unveiled the infectious dance single “Cooler Than Me,” which is a cover of Mike Posner and Big Sean’s homonymous 2009 anthem. The track has received massive support from Spotify’s editorial playlists and some of the biggest independent playlists in the streaming world. Yaat has also been confirmed to perform at the S2O Festival in Hong Kong and the Road to Unseen Festival.
