Ytram & Elderbrook Team Up For ‘Fire’

After being premiered at Tomorrowland Around The World, Martin Garrix and Elderbrook have today released ‘Fire’.

‘Fire’ marks back to back releases under his Ytram alias after July release ‘Make You Mine’ with Bleu Clair. For those who are unaware, Ytram is Martin Garrix’s deeper alias and is his nickname ‘Marty’ spelt backwards.

This time around, it seems Garrix and Co are pushing ‘Fire’ more than ‘Make You Mine’ with an upload to his own YouTube as well as attaching the Martin Garrix name to the Spotify release.

The killer melody catapults this new production to one of the highlights this year. Together with Elderbrook’s standout vocals – this tramples on the competition. Like many Garrix productions, the sound design shines through as with the impressive overall production quality.

STMPD have to be crowned the best dance label so far this year, they’ve put out non stop music both for the club and more commercial outputs.

Garrix: ”I got introduced to Elderbrook’s music by a good friend and immediately loved his sound. I was listening to it non-stop during my holidays, when he actually reached out to me via Instagram after one of his tracks ended up in my stories. It was all super fluent and organically, which I love. We just hit it off and this was the end result.”

Elderbrook: “Martin is someone I have always been a fan of and during lockdown I saw him post a clip of my song Numb, so I reached out to him to see if he wanted to work on something together. It was at the height of lockdown and we had to work back and forth on the song over zoom. We have still not met each other yet which is a crazy thought, but we do have a great song and cannot wait for everyone to hear this.”
