Zuko Hardy Delivers Tantalizing Experimental Trap-Pop Anthem ‘Out In The Hills’

Rising artist Zuko Hardy is at the helm of the experimental trap community in the U.K. Hailing from North West London, Zuko is set on his mission to grow the influence of the South Asian demographic in the music industry. Zuko’s heritage and childhood have allowed him to utilize a diverse selection of genres in his signature style. He merges elements of alternative, rap, hip-hop, and trap, as well as psychedelic effects in his music.

Debuting his project in 2021, Zuko dropped “X GAMES”, which attracted a dedicated base of fans to his unorthodox sound. Following this single’s success, Zuko’s recent track “MIA” was played on BBC Introducing on the Asian Network, making good on his vow to the South Asian population. Even though Zuko has gained knowledge and appreciation for figureheads like Travis Scott, Linkin Park, and Kanye, his productions are more genre-fluid. While his vocals are soothing and colorful, they are complemented by melodic beats that captivate the listener.

Continuing to expand the reach of his project, Zuko’s latest single “Out In The Hills” takes an experimental approach to hip-hop. Speaking on the release, Zuko says, “the song explores how I want more from my life, but my thoughts and feelings are trying to hold me back. They want me to play it safe and not take risks ‘Oh won’t you stay, out in the hills.’ The hills represent safety and my hometown Harrow-on-the-Hill. Throughout the song I am faced with a sense of conflict as I seek an answer to my problem ‘tell me I’m right, tell me I’m wrong.”

Telling a powerful story, “Out In The Hills” embodies heavenly futuristic vocals and a trap beat that penetrates the audience’s soul. By pushing this groundbreaking sound, Zuko has become a role model for upcoming artists who want to break down the barriers of conventional music.
