What began as a one-off team-up on their remix of Nari & Milani’s ‘Atom’—a record championed in Steve Angello’s sets for years—quickly revealed a much deeper creative synergy. Today, Immersed has evolved into a dedicated venture built around deep atmosphere, hypnotic grooves, and striking dynamic contrasts. Both artists bring formidable pedigree to the project: Öwnboss boasts global anthems like ‘Move Your Body’ alongside mainstage appearances at Tomorrowland and Ushuaïa Ibiza, while Scorsi leverages over two decades of electronic expertise spanning underground drum & bass roots and major cross-genre collaborations.
Fresh off a high-profile promotional run through New York City that included iHeartRadio takeovers and a pop-up set aboard the iconic City Soul school bus, the duo are riding massive momentum in 2026. On the heels of their release ‘In Rotation’, we caught up with Öwnboss and Scorsi to dive into their journey, international travels, and life on the road.
Hong Kong (Öwnboss)
Hong Kong is a city that completely surprised me. The energy is unreal, the food is incredible, and there was sushi for breakfast every single day. And yes, I actually ate it every day! One of my craziest memories happened at a club where, the night before my show, a fight broke out involving what people told me was a Russian gang. Bottles were flying everywhere and the place got completely trashed. Then the next night, I showed up to play… and there were literally three people in the club. Definitely one of the most unforgettable gigs of my life.
Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Scorsi)
I’ve been going to Amsterdam for almost 17 years. I first played there with my old drum & bass project, C.A.B.L.E., and in more recent years I’ve been back several times for ADE. People immediately think about the Red Light District or the coffee shops, but that’s probably the least interesting part of the city for me. What I love is getting away from the tourist areas, walking through the quieter neighborhoods, along the canals, admiring the architecture, and just watching everyday life happen. It has this perfect balance between being one of the busiest music capitals in the world while somehow still feeling peaceful. The very first time I played there. I spent about 25 minutes talking to a group of people who thought I was American. It took us that long to realize we were all Brazilian. We may or may not have been completely sober.
Belo Horizonte, Brazil (Immersed)
Belo Horizonte has a special place in our hearts. The food alone is worth the trip—some of the best you’ll find anywhere in Brazil—but what really makes the city unforgettable is the people. The crowds have an incredible passion for dance music, and you can genuinely feel that energy every time we play there. It’s also home to so many talented artists, which says a lot about the city’s musical culture. The last time we played there, Marten Hørger was on the lineup with us. The party was so good that he ended up playing an extra two-hour back-to-back set with Öwnboss. Then, instead of calling it a night, he went straight from the club to have a two-hour breakfast with Scorsi. It honestly felt like he never wanted the party to end.
