Cashmere Cat Launches Virtual Character & Album ‘Princess Catgirl’ Via Video For ‘EMOTIONS’

Cashmere Cat caught everyone’s attention this week announcing an exciting new album project. The announcement also marked the introduction of his virtual side-kick, ‘Princess Catgirl’ which the Album is named after. They dropped their first single ‘EMOTIONS’ today along with an awesome animation video giving us a first look at his new partner.

In the video we see Princess Catgirl hanging around a field pulling off some rather cute little dance moves. Fans will from now be seeing her as the “face” of his music going forward. Introducing his new sidekick, Cashmere Cat writes “i’ve always been shy – since the beginning of being an artist i would hide my face, not want to do interviews, hide behind other artists.. i guess you could say i was scared.. so i created princess catgirl to be the face of my music. she makes me feel safe.”

‘EMOTIONS’ is the first new music since the Major Lazer and Tory Lanez collab “Miss You” in 2018. As this one spreads to the masses, anticipation will now be firmly on the rest of Cashmere Cats ‘Princess Catgirl‘ album. If ‘EMOTIONS’ is anything go by its perfect mix of pop flavoured future bass, with its own distinct soundscape.
