UPDATE: Head Trip Festival Evacuated Due to Severe Weather

UPDATE: Head Trip Day 1 is officially cancelled due to severe weather. Calvin Harris will not play tonight. Head Trip will provide updates as they work on a solution.

As FISHER and Chris Lake were wrapping up their Under Construction B2B, organisers were forced to halt the music due to severe weather approaching the debut Head Trip festival.

The festival instructed attendees to immediately leave the grounds and take cover. An official alert was sent out with the following directive: “There is approaching severe weather. The show is suspended. Exit the venue the way you entered and seek shelter in personal vehicles or shuttles. Stay tuned in the app for updates.”

Head Trip had already adjusted its schedule earlier in the day to anticipate the impact of Tropical Storm Rachel. While the venue had only experienced periodic showers prior to the suspension, deteriorating conditions prompted the sudden shutdown.

With the event currently on hold, it remains unclear whether Calvin Harris will be able to take the stage for his closing set. But with rain expected to continue for the next couple of hours, it remains doubtful that Calvin will play at the planned time. Hopefully, organisers Goldenvoice can accommodate a later set time, a reschedule to tomorrow or some other solution to deliver the high-demand set that is Calvin Harris’.

The livestream now says the reply will be played:
