Now, the celebrated producer and DJ is back with a bang, enlisting Andra R for his first release of 2022, “You’re A Fire.” Out via tastemaker label and brand Cafe De Anatolia, who has positioned itself in the forefront of ethnic and downtempo electronic music over the past years, “You’re A Fire” is paired with two exciting remixes, and is bound to help transcend IV-IN’s career to a whole new level this year.
IV-IN made his debut on Cafe De Anatolia back in 2020 with his EP ‘Riviera,’ and there’s no doubt that “You’re A Fire” will connect with the label’s sophisticated audience of dance and downtempo enthusiasts. Following an intimate and soft arrangement, “You’re A Fire” is driven by a heavenly vocal over IV-IN’s minimalistic production, that nicely evolves throughout the tune’s 7-minute duration.
The immersive song’s pair of remixes are an impressive addition to the release, and will surely make up for exciting DJ weapons throughout the rest of the year. Electronic pioneers Ykonosh and Don Jongle infuse “You’re A Fire” with groovy percussion and minimal synth lines, while German twin duo Überhaupt & Außerdem take things in a darker and grittier direction, while paying respect to the tune’s original ethereal sound.
