Martin Garrix Unveils Highly Anticipated New Single ‘This Dream Of You’

Martin Garrix has officially released his latest single, ‘This Dream Of You’, via Darkroom Records. Arriving today, October 2nd, the emotional progressive house track culminates a summer of immense anticipation. It first captivated audiences as a striking orchestral intro during his Tomorrowland Belgium mainstage set. The full version later debuted at Ushuaïa Ibiza and quickly became one of the season’s most talked-about IDs.

The song opens with an ethereal symphony before transitioning into Garrix’s signature euphoric production. What sets this release apart is the deeply personal choice to feature his own vocals front and centre. Following his vocal debut on the earlier release ‘Catharina’, Garrix takes a bold step forward by making his voice the focal point of the track. This represents a rare and intimate move for a producer of his stature, with his delivery supported by light, airy textures and a warm, uplifting payoff.

Lyrically, the track explores the theme of finding hope in another person when everything else feels uncertain. This emotional core is anchored by the heartfelt confession, “this dream of you is my way of coping.” In the weeks leading up to the official drop, Garrix kept fans engaged through stripped-back acoustic performances and social media teasers. The final release delivers an expansive atmosphere, cementing ‘This Dream Of You’ as a deeply resonant addition to his evolving catalogue.
