Swedish House Mafia Release ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ & ‘Antidote’ Edits Officially

Appearing today on digital platforms, Swedish House Mafia have had their ‘Antidote’ and ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ edits officially released. Without an announcement or acknowledgment, fans were pleasantly surprised. The release dates are listed as January 1st 2023, a date that is likely a placeholder, but has now come to fruition.

‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ is listed as the Paradise Again edit, which is due to its heavy use throughout their Paradise Again tour; in fact, it is already available via their Paradise Again live album. On the other hand, the ‘Antidote’ release is ‘Belgium Edit’ – referring to Tomorrowland (located in Belgium), where they first played the new version. What is interesting is that every indication has this edit being by new SUPERHUMAN signee John Alto, including the official tracklist from Tomorrowland. His name is nowhere on this release, confusing many.

It’s amazing to see these new versions of classic SHM anthems. Having played a handful of new edits over the years that are not rushed to release, it’s always a celebration to officially get tracks like these.

Following Spotify’s new mixing feature, Swedish House Mafia were selected to feature their own mix. Aligning the mix to what they play in their sets, SHM opted to release these two singles to complement the DJ mix better.
