Tiësto Releases Latest Studio Album ‘The London Sessions’, First In 6 Years

Whilst it has been a pretty tough time for the entire world lately, aside from not being able to tour, things haven’t been looking so bad for legendary DJ Tiësto. On top of recently sharing the happy news that he is set to be a father, he also announced a huge new music project with his next studio album ‘The London Sessions’.

As noted by the title, the new album features productions that were mostly made during studio sessions in London last year. Across the 13 track LP it features some huge names including already released singles such as the Jonas Blue collab ‘Ritual’ featuring Rita Ora, ‘God Is A Dancer’ with Mabel, the Becky Hill Featuring Nothing Really Matters and Post Malone‘s hit feature on “Jackie Chan” with Dzeko and Preme.

The album brings us new music together from a wide variety of interesting names such as acclaimed dance vocalist Becky Hill who appears on two tracks in total, hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg lands for “On My California” and further on the album the likes of ROE, Stevie Appleton, KAMILLE, Fontwell, GALAXARA, Violet Skies, ILIRA. In all, there is no shortage of collaborations, with each record having its own feature.

The album very much focuses on the commercial side of Tiësto’s repertoire, contrasting to his hard-hitting Together EP which dropped just over a year ago, in which the Dutch legend collaborated with a number of electronic producers including Aazar, Sikdope, Mesto for a club orientated collection of works. While some fans always expect club bangers from Tiesto, given the current circumstances we’re more than happy to enjoy something with a more laidback theme.

This is his first studio album since A Town Called Paradise, released back in 2014. This album was a hugely successful venture for the artist, the lead single ‘Red Lights’ has become a favourite for many in his long discography. With the star power and talent involved, The London Sessions is set to follow in its footsteps and is almost guaranteed to be a success among both the commercial crowd and the Tiësto fans in the dance world.
