Adidas Unveil 2026 World Cup Shirts

Adidas have officially revealed their new football shirt range for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, taking place in USA, Canada, and Mexico next Summer. Always a hot moment in the fashion calendar, the drop of the Adidas jerseys has grown to become a monumental event every 4 years, with previous campaigns including the likes of Michael Ballack and Zinedine Zidane in 2006, right through to Lionel Messi and Mesut Ozil in 2014, and this modern edition, with Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori, and Bayern Munich winger, Luis Diaz.

The shirts, from varying nations including Belgium, Italy, Scotland, and many more, have been received to widely positive praise, with the most encouraging online reaction reserved for the Germany shirt, which features a nod to the 1990 classic, featuring the stripes in the colours of the German flag. Further gems include the Colombia effort, which incorporates many of the similar colours and patterns of their nation’s 1994 jersey – ironically – the last time the World Cup was held in the United States.

Though the jewel in the crown of the latest Adidas drop is perhaps the Mexico shirt, which includes a classic Aztec pattern within the design of the chest and back areas of the shirt, the first time we’ve seen this with such detail since the 1998 Mexican jersey, which became widely recognised as one of the greatest football shirts ever made, thanks to innovative design, and Blanco’s ‘bunny hop’ move during the tournament, which elevated the shirt into pop culture.

Over the years, Adidas have held close ties with the World Cup tournament, manufacturing the official balls to be used on the pitch itself, in addition to several iconic advertising campaigns featuring brand ambassadors and superstars such as David Beckham, and Alessandro Del Piero.
