Dutch National Football Team Adds Musical Flair to Armin van Buuren and Chef’Special’s ‘Larger Than Life’

Armin van Buuren and Chef’Special, two of the Netherlands’ acclaimed music acts, have unveiled their highly awaited collaboration, ‘Larger Than Life.’ Doubling as the official anthem for the Dutch men’s national football team, ‘Larger Than Life’ captures the feeling of being able to take on the world, aiming to kick off a journey that leads to greatness.

‘Larger Than Life’ features musical contributions from the players of the Dutch men’s national football team, a first since 1988. Parts of the track were recorded during a writing camp held alongside the team’s training camp. The players, led by Virgil van Dijk, added claps and backing vocals. The uplifting vocals of Chef’Special, combined with Armin van Buuren’s production style, make this song a fitting anthem for the national team’s quest for victory – a super unique collaboration all around.

Armin van Buuren, a DJ and producer, has been passionate about music since childhood. He spent his paper route earnings on records, and his interest in technology grew when his mother won a computer, leading him to create music on it.
