Insomniac and Colombia’s Páramo Presenta have announced the debut of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Colombia, set to take place in Medellín in October 2026. The festival will be held at the city’s Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot and will feature EDC’s signature mix of electronic music, large-scale production, and immersive art.
The launch of EDC Colombia marks another step in Insomniac’s global expansion, adding to previous international editions in Mexico, Brazil, the UK, China, India, and South Korea. Medellín’s rich culture and landscape are expected to provide a unique setting for the festival’s arrival in South America.
The event is being produced in partnership with Páramo Presenta, a division of OCESA and longtime collaborator on EDC Mexico. The two companies aim to deliver a locally rooted but globally executed festival experience.
