Labyrinth on the Thames today announces multi-platinum-selling DJ and producer HUGEL as the latest headliner for its 2027 series, bringing his acclaimed Latin and Afro House set to the spectacular riverside setting of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich on Saturday 7 August 2027. HUGEL returns to London following a record breaking year which saw him play two sold out nights at Roundhouse and reach No.2 in the UK Official Albums Chart earlier this year. HUGEL is the second headliner to be announced for the celebrated open-air series as it prepares to return to the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its third edition.
As HUGEL’s only UK performance of 2027 and UK open air debut, the global hitmaker will bring his unmistakable fusion of Latin, Afro and Mediterranean rhythms to the heart of Greenwich. As one of the most in-demand names in dance music, he has sold out shows across the world, held prestigious residencies at Ibiza institutions Hï Ibiza, Pacha and Ushuaïa and commanded stages at some of the planet’s biggest festivals, including Burning Man, Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza. Speaking on his headline Labyrinth on the Thames show, HUGEL said, “London, we’re taking it to another level! Playing at the iconic Old Royal Naval College is gonna be something special. Historic walls, crazy energy, and one mission: MAKE THE GIRLS DANCE!”
HUGEL arrives in Greenwich following a remarkable period of international success that has cemented his position among dance music’s biggest names. Widely credited as a driving force behind the Latin House movement, the Parisian producer has amassed more than one billion streams, attracted over 36 million monthly Spotify listeners and delivered a string of global hits, including ‘Morenita’, ‘Jamaican (Bam Bam)’, ‘It Feels So Good’ and ‘I Adore You’. With multiple Beatport No. 1 records to his name, his genre-defying productions have captivated audiences across Europe, the Americas and beyond, establishing him as one of the leading forces shaping modern Afro House and Latin House, showcasing his unique ability to connect genres, audiences, and cultures on a worldwide scale.
His extraordinary rise reached new heights this summer with the release of his long-awaited debut album, Twenty One. Featuring an extraordinary roster of collaborators from across hip-hop, R&B, Afro House, Latin music, and global dance culture, including David Guetta, Snoop Dogg, Donel and Big Sean, the record pushed the boundaries of his signature sound, chartering his journey from underground DJ to one of the world’s most-streamed electronic artists. The album debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Top Albums Debut chart and its lead single, ‘Movin’ To The Sun’, claimed the overall No. 1 spot on Beatport, reached No.2 on the UK Official Albums Chart and been in the chart for 19 weeks, propelling HUGEL to become the most-Shazamed artist in the world. Further artists for Labyrinth on the Thames will be announced over the next few months. Pre-sale tickets go on-sale November 6th at 10am GMT, exclusively to those who sign up. Sign up is essential.
