Indie Artist Jvanz Sells Debut NFT During International Market Crash

As an independent artist, Jvanz has been breaking barriers other musicians his age dream of. After releasing his latest single “Reach Into Myself,” a radio-ready house/pop anthem, Jvanz announced his debut NFT sale, with an audiovisual piece featuring an exclusive vocal clip, and visual work from acclaimed crypto artist Leonardo Silva. In a truly impressive effort, Jvanz managed to sell the 1/1 digital art piece for 1 ETH (worth $3,852 USD), despite the stock and crypto markets internationally crashing a few days ago, just as the sale was up and running.

“I wanted there to be no face or features, just the light that represents beauty within a person, the magic of their soul. Most of us only fall for what we see at first sight. It takes a deeper look and reaching into yourself to really see the beauty within a person for who they truly are,” explains Jvanz about his idea behind the NFT.  “I’ve realised one’s true beauty and energy lies within and sometimes we need to ‘reach into ourselves’ to find that.”

Out of the proceeds from his successful debut NFT sale, Jvanz will be donating 10% to the charity organisation “1% For The Planet,” while the owner will receive exclusive footage of its behind-the-scenes creation, as well as early notice when Jvanz is gearing up to drop his next collection of tokenised art. With such a successful debut NFT drop, Jvanz is definitely looking towards establishing himself as a dominant name in the space. Taking into consideration that his debut drop was released in partnership with the legendary team at MoneGraph, the only way is up for Jvanz in the world of crypto.

Though he just experienced his first big win in the NFT space, Jvanz has been working towards achieving a career in music for more than 10 years now. He started teaching himself how to sing by watching tutorials on YouTube at an early age, and then went on to start posting originals and covers on the platform. It was after he started posting a series of freestyle videos on Instagram where he started to see his work go viral and from that point on, the rest was history.
