Kaskade gets together with Brazilian duo Chemical Surf, comprising of brothers Lucas and Hugo.
As the name suggests, ‘POW POW POW’ brings a lot of energy and is perfect for dance floors, at home right now, or soon to be; clubs.
The track has a very similar feel to Tiësto and Sevenn’s ‘BOOM’. It has the same Brazilian style and almost indistinguishable vocals. It isn’t surprising to have it sound the same considering this is Chemical Surf’s style, however maybe different vocals would have help its individualism.
“We produced the first version of this song in 2017, with Hugo’s vocals, but we were not completely satisfied with the instrumental part of it so we never released it. With plenty of time to work in the studio due to the quarantine, we decided to modernize the song with a new drop. We sent the new version to Kaskade, who liked it a lot. So it made sense for him to work on “Pow Pow Pow” along with us. This collaboration has made the track perfect”, explain Lucas and Hugo.
