Global streaming giant Deezer has once again established itself as a leading supporter of Electronic Dance Music. Entering the second year of their innovative partnership with Amsterdam Dance Event the company now presents us with a number of exclusively crafted playlists to soundtrack Amsterdam Dance Event 2019. The selections include artists such as Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Tiesto, Joris Voorn and labels such as Defected, Barong Family and Hospital Records.
Deezer will have a significant presence at 2019’s iteration of ADE. Their takeover of an entire building in the centre of Amsterdam becomes the Deezer Home and will only be a stone’s throw from ADE Sound Lab’s hub, De Brakke Grond. Many special events will take place including an exclusive music listening party as well as the ‘Barbershop’, which will allow fans to enjoy a free haircut whilst hearing to unreleased albums.
Deezer’s passion and commitment to electronic music is evident beyond ADE with their curatorship programs that frequently recruit some of the biggest acts in the scene, and their flagship electronic playlist ‘PULSE’. They also host ‘Trailblazers’ an original podcast which sees them dive into the backstory and mindset of electronic music heroes. Gary Newman and Fatboy Slim are just some of the leading figures featured in the past two seasons.
Speaking on the renewed partnership Gijs Matthee of Amsterdam Dance Event commented; “Deezer has been a huge supporter of the electronic music scene on a global and local level. Discovering, exploring and finding new acts, sound, and genres is a fundamental part of ADE. We’re glad that we can keep providing music enthusiasts with curated playlists from on their platform, covering a wide selection of electronic genre and sub-species.”
Deezer’s Dance and Electronic Music Editor, Robin Wilms further stated; “We have a lot of love for electronic music at Deezer and want fans to enjoy the very best electronic content out there. This is the second year in a row we have partnered with ADE to offer fans a unique experience leading up to one of the most influential weeks of electronic music of the year. Together we’re bringing fans personally curated tracks from the amazing ADE artist lineup, paired with some really interesting Deezer events that I hope will intrigue and excite fans during their time at the festival.”
