lleo Returns With Feel-Good Single “only get better”

Having carefully crafted a sound that reminiscent of the likes of Lauv, the 1975 and Charli XCX, lleo is a truly exciting star on the rise, methodically releasing songs that are as bright as they are intricate. Having found herself in multiple Spotify editorial playlists, such as New Music Friday, peach, Wholesome and New Pop UK, lleo is connecting with her audience through her introspective and honesty lyricism, as well as bubbly productions that never fail to impress.

lleo’s first release in 2021 comes in the form of “only get better,” a bold pop anthem with empowering lyrics and crisp production. Playful chords and snappy drums kick off the arrangement, while lleo’s impactful vocal lines tell the story of a person going through ups and downs before realizing that things can “only get better.”

“The last year has been horrible. I was in the studio one day with my co-writers, and we were all feeling pretty miserable – to the point where we thought ‘things are SO bad, it can only get better.’ We wanted to encapsulate that feeling of everything being weird and scary, but also bring a little bit of hope to people. Things will get better eventually, but it’s ok to feel weird whilst the world is still not right,” says lleo.
