MPH and Skrillex Collide on Vibey New Single ‘Mirage’

MPH, one of the most sought-after producers in the new wave of UK Garage, has teamed up with acclaimed artist Skrillex for new track ‘Mirage’.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting this massive release since MPH first teased it during his EDC Las Vegas set in May. ‘Mirage’ heavily samples Red Rat’s late-1990s Jamaican dancefloor classic ‘ShellyAnn’. The final production is pure euphoria that borders on delirium, featuring driving drums, sputtering basslines, and warped vocal chops intertwined with beaming chords and an infectious, bouncing synth line.

The duo recorded the track in a single afternoon, simply experimenting in the studio to see what would happen. MPH recalled the collaborative process, noting that Skrillex would work on a section and pass the laptop over for MPH to continue, allowing them to quickly marry their distinct sounds together.

Skrillex has always been at the forefront of the electronic music scene, collaborating with upcoming talent and seeing him team up with MPH is no different. MPH has been on a roll lately – with a number of notable highlights and this recently collaboration is the icing on the cake.
