New Dance Sounds: Don Diablo, R3HAB & Timmy Trumpet, Brooks & Julian Jordan + More

The 18th release Friday of 2020 brings a range of eclectic sounds from the likes of Don Diablo, EAUXMAR, R3HAB & Timmy Trumpet, Brooks & Julian Jordan and Weiss. Stay inside this weekend and indulge in all this excellent new music.

Don Diablo – Inside My Head (Voices) [Hexagon]

Don Diablo is here again with another release, his 7th of the year! ‘Inside My Head (Voices)’ features Don’s signature sound and signature vocal theme. There is no question over who made this release. Fans of Don are sure to love it and likely anyone else into dance music also!

R3HAB x Timmy Trumpet – 911 [CYB3RPVNK]

‘911’ brings the best of the both worlds from these artists, R3HAB’s catchy vocals and bouncing melodies and Timmy’s riding basslines and groove. This is the first time these EDM titans have collaborated and the result calls for another, soon!

Brooks & Julian Jordan – Without You [STMPD]

‘Without You’ is the result of two of the strongest acts on STMPD coming together. With soaring leads and a bouncy drop perfectly exemplifying both Brooks and Julian Jordan’s sounds – this is definitely one that we’ve been waiting for after the many Martin Garrix plays.

Julian Calor feat. Trove – Silence [Musical Freedom]

Julian Calor returns to Musical Freedom, this time accompanied by Trove for their second collaboration. ‘Silence’ brings a fresh twist to Calor’s signature electronic sound. The track has energy yet remains grounded and packs potential for many listens.

Weiss – First Sight [Island]

UK house master Weiss brings infectious 80s inspired production with ‘First Sight’. Both sounding nostalgic and fresh, this record is the first in a series from Weiss that will focus on the halcyon days of rave.

ShockOne – It’s All Over [Monstercat]

For his first solo outing since his 2019 album, Aussie ShockOne brings it with ‘It’s All Over’. The hard hitting dubstep production lands on Monstercat, a perfect home for this record.

Project 46 & BYNON – Somebody New [pink pineapple]

After returning to the dance music scene mid-way through April, Canadian duo Project 46 are here with their second release since returning – uniting with frequent collaborator BYNON. The result brings us back to the days of awesome progressive anthems from the artists and we love it. We’ve just skimmed the surface of Project 46’s return and we can’t wait for more.

Man Cub & APEK feat. April Bender – Wrong To Let You Go [Enhanced]

The second single of Man Cub’s incoming album sees him team up with APEK and April Bender for a progressive anthem perfect for Enhanced. Man Cub is a reflectively fresh name on the scene, with some excellent releases under his belt and a recent Tritonal collaboration, we cannot wait to see what the album brings.

EAUXMAR – Given Away/Given Back

For his first independent release, EAUXMAR goes for a delicate and vocal cut driven production. ‘Given Away/Given Back’ is a prime example of the 19 year old’s talents and we’re excited for his bright future ahead.

Malaa – Four Twenty

Malaa’s newest house hitter comes in the form of ‘Four Twenty’. As the title, artwork and lyrics imply, this is all about smoking weed – fitting well into Malaa’s brand. Released on the 30th of April, you’ll have to ask Malaa why he didn’t release it 10 days earlier…

Corey James feat. Spyder – Don’t Stop [Protocol]

For his 7th release on Protocol, Corey James brings Spyder along for ‘Don’t Stop’. Corey James has had a great start to 2020 and ‘Don’t Stop’ sees that trend continue.

Sammy Porter & Jess Bays – Devotion [Armada Subjekt]

After three years, Sammy Porter finally got the sample ‘Back To Life’ from Soul II Soul cleared for ‘Devotion’. It’s finally here and lands on Armada’s Subjekt sub-label. Together with Jess Bays, they create a solid house tune that is sure to be heard throughout clubs, when they’re back open.

Tom Hall & Nalestar feat. EMIAH – Casual [Gemstone]

Releasing on Gemstone for the first time, Tom Hall and Nalestar bring great summer vibes with ‘Casual’. The top vocals from E. Miah wrap the track up to have all the ingredients for a hit.

Genix feat. Sue McLaren – Free Love [Anjuna]

After appearing in the Genix mixed Anjunabeats Worldwide 09, ‘Free Love’ is now here in its individual capacity. Together with Sue McLaren, they create a terrific trance anthem, making sure to blend Genix’s techno trance sounds together. Along with this single, the EP brings two Genix remixes!
