New Dance Sounds: Laidback Luke, JAUZ, Yellow Claw + More

With ADE occurring in just a few days, many of dance music’s best unveil releases. Friday 11th of October brings us a wide range of music from across the globe.

Laidback Luke x Raven & Kreyn – Bam Bam [Mixmash]

DJ legend Laidback Luke recruits up and coming duo Raven & Kreyn for a fresh new record. Like the track title states; “Bam Bam” is heard through the majority of the track. This chant acts as the melody that is given the Brazilian bass treatment through the drop.

Golden Features & The Presets – Paradise [Modular]

These Australian acts join forces for a brilliant and masterful production. ‘Paradise’ explores a more subtle sound for Golden Features and allows for a great instrumental backing for The Presets’ always quality vocals. It is really nice to see these two acts come together, something that is rather surprising – yet the combination is incredibly well done.

JAUZ – Get To Me [Bite This!]

JAUZ continues his streak of releases on his own label. This time we have ‘Get To Me’, an awesome production that infuses a classic house sound with the grungy sound that fans have come to love from JAUZ. With the included quality vocals, this is a very solid release from JAUZ – one of the stand outs from his latest catalog.

Yellow Claw – Amsterdamned [Roc Nation]

With the news of their comic book ‘Amsterdamned’, Yellow Claw have today unleashed the accompanying soundtrack. With gritty sounds and a vibrant set of vocals, this production is really impressive and any Yellow Claw fans will be having a good Friday!

Max Styler – Echo Over Me [Dim Mak]

Vegas based Max Styler continues his exploration into house music with the release of his new song on imprint Dim Mak. With UK house sounds felt throughout the production, the track includes a vocal to match.

Ghastly x BROHUG – Get Down [Independent]

Just by seeing these two names together on a track title is a sign of what to expect. As expected, this production drops into a hardcore sound. The highly energetic vocals lead the way to the centerpiece of the track; the drop.

Syn Cole feat. Golden Age – Cool With That [STMPD]

Syn Cole remains at Martin Garrix’s STMPD for his new single together with Golden Age. This is signature Syn Cole with a bubbly and happy feel felt throughout the release. This track is very well made and has potential in both dance and commercial markets.

Throttle – Bloom [Monstercat]

Melbourne artist turned global artist Throttle has continued his releases with Monstercat – this time with an 7 track EP. Throttle has taken a different musical direction as of late, with this new release continuing that pursuit.

CADE – Better Off Alone [Ultra]

Today, CADE provides us with a brilliant release. The vocals, the sounds and the climax – all impressive and unique. The vocals paint a vibrant story that guides you through the release. The drop in this production has reworked vocal chops and an energetic sound that is like no other. Like Syn Cole’s new one mentioned above, this has immense potential in both the commercial and dance clusters.

FlexB x Juliana Mendez – This Is House [House Mag]

Just as the track says, ‘This Is House’! FlexB and Juliana Mendez come together for a top production. A punchy bass and solid sound design can be found throughout the track. All house fans will love this one!
