New Imprint Anjunachill Begins With New Above & Beyond Single ‘Shall We Begin’

As the new year begins, change is in the air at Anjuna. To start things off, Anjunachill, formerly known as Reflections, has officially become the third frontline label under the Anjuna umbrella, showcasing the group’s ambient, downtempo, and chillout catalog.

Marking its 25th anniversary and the launch of Anjunachill, the Anjuna label family is introducing a refreshed brand identity for 2025. At its heart is a custom-designed typeface, ‘Decima Sans,’ paired with the iconic ‘Anjuna A.’ This updated look pays tribute to Anjuna’s rich legacy while laying a dynamic design foundation for its future evolution.

Anjunachill’s debut release arrives today, January 14, with Above & Beyond’s new single, ‘Shall We Begin.’ First introduced as the opening track for Above & Beyond’s guest mix on the 500th episode of the Anjunadeep Edition last summer, ‘Shall We Begin’ is a deeply moving downtempo electronic piece, taking listeners on a three-minute emotional journey. Echoing the sweeping soundscapes of their iconic Flow State album, the track is poignant, reflective, and utterly captivating.

In October 2024, 15,000 fans were treated to a preview of ‘Shall We Begin’ when it soundtracked the enigmatic ‘Anjuna 25’ teaser video, played just before Above & Beyond’s headline set at ABGT600 in Mexico City. This fittingly titled track not only launches the Anjunachill label but also marks an exciting new chapter for Above & Beyond, who are set to perform at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California, this April.

Over the past three years, the Reflections label has released over 250 recordings from 70+ artists, amassing over 150 million streams. The label has released critically acclaimed albums from Mark Barrott, Cephas Azariah, Yotto, and Croquet Club. With standout live showcases at Glastonbury and sold-out events at ADE, Reflections has established its reputation as a credible tastemaker in the chillout space. Now, Anjunachill will carry the torch.
