FIVE Holdings Set to Transform the Brooklyn Mirage Into Pacha New York

FIVE Holdings Set to Transform the Brooklyn Mirage Into Pacha New York

The legendary cherries are returning to the Big Apple, but this time, they land in Brooklyn. Global hospitality titan FIVE Holdings has officially confirmed a long-term agreement to assume full operational management of the Brooklyn Mirage and The Great Hall complex, rebranding the iconic East Williamsburg destination as Pacha New York.

FIVE Holdings own several hotels in Dubai, Zurich and Ibiza, and own the legendary Pacha Group – which has its iconic flagship venue in Ibiza.

The announcement follows a complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy process for the venue’s former parent company, Avant Gardner. After a period of legal uncertainty in 2025, a resolution with the Committee of Unsecured Creditors has paved the way for a June 2026 opening.

This is not the first time the Pacha brand has called the city home. Pacha NYC previously operated a massive four-story club in Hell’s Kitchen for a decade before closing its doors in January 2016. While that era focused on the high-energy pulse of Manhattan, this revival is described as a cultural revival rooted in Brooklyn. “New York is not simply a new chapter,” says Kabir Mulchandani, Chairman and CEO of FIVE Holdings. “It is a statement of intent about the scale of our aspirations and the cultural impact we are here to create”.

The transition involves more than just a name change. Demolition of the current Mirage structure was set to begin earlier this week to make way for a complete rebuild. The inaugural season, running from June through October 2026, promises a blend of international headliners and homegrown talent.

Expect world-class production and large-scale shows rarely seen in New York City. Additionally, the soon-to-be upgraded Great Hall will continue to operate year-round as a multi-genre arena for live acts and next-generation sounds. Ongoing partnerships with local artists and promoters will ensure the venue remains unmistakably Brooklyn.

“The partnership with FIVE and Pacha is about restoring the venue as a beloved destination for music fans,” says Andrew Axelrod, CEO of Axar Capital.

For a city that witnessed the end of an era when Pacha NYC closed a decade ago, this cultural platform represents a new chapter in an over 50-year legacy of dancing together.
