Pusha T & Pharrell Williams Brew Up New Venture with Grindin Coffee

Long-time collaborators Terrence “Pusha T” Thornton and Pharrell Williams have stepped into the beverage industry, announcing the launch of Grindin Coffee today. Partnering with the esteemed Italian roaster Lavazza, the duo has created a brand aimed at fueling creatives, entrepreneurs, and anyone working outside the traditional nine-to-five window.

Available exclusively online, the initial product lineup features ground and whole bean options in both dark and medium roasts. Lavazza’s experts have crafted a dark blend with cocoa and brown spice flavours sourced from across Central America, South America, and Southeast Asia. The medium roast offers a bittersweet chocolate and roasted hazelnut profile from South American beans.

The brand was born out of the intensive schedules the two artists maintain while recording, exercising, and touring.

“Pusha and I have been building together since the beginning,” says Pharrell Williams. “From making ‘Grindin’’ back in 2002 to now, it has always been about intention and focus. Coffee has always been part of that discipline. It has been in the room with us when we create. Now it has a name.”

“P and I were waking up really early. Like 5 a.m. early,” explains Pusha T on the origins of Grindin. “That was our routine. Alarm goes off at 5, we’re up, and the first thing we’re doing is black coffee or the strongest espresso we can find. That’s how we were working. That was the fuel. We’d be in the studio creating, locked in, just grinding. And then from there we’d go ride twenty five miles on the bike. That was the whole rhythm, create, move, create again. Coffee was part of that whole cycle.”

This relentless creative cycle recently delivered immense success for both artists. Following Pusha’s hit record It’s Almost Dry, Pharrell entirely produced Let God Sort Em Out, marking the highly anticipated return of Clipse, the legendary rap duo of Pusha and his brother Malice. The comeback album earned five Grammy nominations and won Best Rap Performance. Pharrell was also honoured at the same ceremony with the 2026 Dr. Dre Global Impact Award for his decades of cultural influence.

For Pusha, the coffee line is a direct reflection of their work ethic and the people who share it.
“Our customer is someone who builds things,” says Pusha. “The kind of person who wakes up and gets to work, who works out every day, who builds a strong community around them.”
“It’s all about the grind,” he continues. “It’s the first move before you build something. That’s why this brand exists”
