Nashville electronic producer Shmuck The Loyal’s latest EP “HYPERVADE” hits hard from start to finish. Cuts like “Excavate” and “Gnosis” seamlessly shift genres: trap one second, hardstyle or even future bass the next. One thing remains the same, however: the tracks’ overwhelming power. But it isn’t just power that drives Schmuck The Loyal, it’s also emotion:
“I’m in the pursuance of creating music that is emotive, visceral and rattles your core. It is intended to enhance whatever emotion is relevant to your life at the time of listening. If I were to pick a theme, it would be ‘empowering’” he says.
Once a behind-the-scenes producer for well-known artists like Blackbear and Mikky Ekko, the young artist recently decided to focus on the developing his own alias. His first single, titled “Excavate” serves as the lead off his EP “HYPERVADE,” out now on label-collective “Softcore.”
