Solardo’s Ultimate New Year’s Eve Playlist

We have finally arrived at the Holiday season and the end of the year. After a tumultuous year, I think it’s safe to say that it is a relief that we’re in the final gasps of 2020 are upon us. With vaccines on the horizon and a certain orange manchild leaving prominence, we can most certainly celebrate them with joy and jubilance. But how could we have the best celebrations without the ultimate New Year’s Eve tracks? Well, fortunately for us our friends Solardo have curated the perfect, rave-tastic assortment of records to heat-up the night as we tick into 2021.

While 2020 has been quite the drag, Solardo has made the most of it. The two-piece House maestros have tantalized the dance scene with some of the best tracks of the year and ones that drape the air with vibrant exhilaration, bringing dreams of sound-soaked dancefloors. In 2020, Solardo has released quite a few incredible singles like “My Life”, “Tear It Up” with Paul Woolford, “Enough” with Rowetta, and “Power of Bass” with Armand Van Helden and Hervé. They also brought forward fantastic remixes for the likes of CamelPhat, Calvin Harris’s Love Regenerator, and one of my favorites of the year, their acid remix for Andrea Oliva’s “Freaks”. With such a fiery and triumphant year, who better than Solardo to curate the ultimate playlist for this year’s New Year’s Eve.

To preface the selections, the guys had this to say:

We’ve tried to keep this playlist as high energy as possible so it mirrors how we’d approach any show on NYE. We’ve also thrown in a couple of classic rave belters we got fully involved with back in the day from Gat Decor & Modular Expansion!
