The Powerful Meaning Behind Elderbrook & Rudimentals Video For ‘Something About You’

Rudimental just released their ‘Distinction EP’ to wide applause. Leading the track selection is a stunning song by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Elderbrook called ‘Something About You’. Now they follow up with a captivating music video for the track. While it is interesting and comedic on one level, it also carries with it an important message around mental health.

Luke Davis (Rich The Kid, Jax Jones, Mabel) produced the music video concept, and with it, they aim to shake up some of the stigmas around men expressing themselves. The visuals and unique dance are intended to combat notions of traditional masculinity, by highlighting the beauty that can come from learning to be comfortable expressing one’s emotions.
