Electronic music maven Alesso has officially ushered in 2026 with his first release of the year, ‘Fade’. This high-profile collaboration sees the Swedish producer team up with the legendary Australian electronic rock band Pendulum to create a track that marks a massive start to the year.
The record manages to align Alesso’s classic progressive sound with the harsh and distinctive Rob Swire vocal, making for a wonderful electronic anthem. Old school fans of the Swedish talent will take note of the melodies and sound design, reminiscent of his earlier works that garnered so much attention.
Regarding the collaboration, Alesso shared: “I’ve known Rob and Pendulum for many years, and they’ve held such a special sound. Rob’s voice is so unique that it can really bring a track to life. Working on FADE with them was amazing and I couldn’t be more excited to kick off the new year with this release!”
The release of ‘Fade’ arrives alongside the announcement of Alesso’s first-ever US headline tour. The tour is set to kick off this April and will hit several major locations:
- April 25, 2026 – Red Rocks Amphitheater; Morrison, CO
- June 5, 2026 – Bill Graham Civic Auditorium; San Francisco, CA
- June 13, 2026 – Sears Building; Los Angeles, CA
