ARKELL LDN Fire Up a Frenzied Journey With Their ‘LIVE FOREVER’ EP

ARKELL LDN have released their latest project, the LIVE FOREVER EP—three high-impact singles engineered to bridge the technical finesse of live percussion with the intensity of modern electronic production. The release includes “LIVE FOREVER,” “Contact,” and “Horizon,” each built around the duo’s hybrid approach that integrates acoustic drums with drum & bass, breakbeat, and euphoric electronica – perfect. The EP is now available across all platforms.

Led by John Arkell and Ali Thynne, ARKELL LDN operate at the intersection of live performance and studio precision. Both members are accomplished session drummers with extensive credits supporting acts such as Bonobo, Stormzy, Griff, and Submotion Orchestra. Their background as professional touring musicians informs the EP’s rhythmic complexity and dynamic pacing—delivering tightly arranged compositions that maintain the energy of a live show while remaining sonically polished.

The LIVE FOREVER EP draws inspiration from artists like The Prodigy, LCD Soundsystem, Noisia, and Bicep, while also incorporating melodic and atmospheric influences from acts such as Rival Consoles and Fred Again. The result is a technically astute release with cinematic undertones and forward-facing club sensibilities. According to the duo, the EP was written with the intention of “capturing a feeling of movement, focus, and release—music that could accompany a state of flow or emotional breakthrough.”

Each track was designed to function both on stage and in personal listening environments, with layered textures, live drum performances, and an emphasis on high-impact transitions. The group’s performance videos further underline their intent: full-band arrangements with studio-level sound quality and a clear attention to aesthetic detail.
