Sky seems to be the limit for Besomorph this year, as halfway in he has already reached 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify off the back of his massive dance smash “Apologize”, which amassed 2 million streams on the platform in less than a month and received wide editorial support. Now, the most streamed German bass music artist is going back to his darker roots with impactful cut “84”, enlisting talented singer/songwriter Salvo.
Out via Nightblue Music and Magic Music, “84” is as ominous as it is ethereal, and carries captivating vibes from start to finish. Starting off with a dark atmosphere and trap-inspired percussion under Salvo’s clean vocals, it undoubtedly does a great job of pulling the listener into Besomorph’s world. The drop is equally impressive, pairing gritty bass with catchy pluck arpeggios while Salvo’s heavenly vocal harmonies fill in the background.
“This song came straight out of our hearts, reflecting a dark experience that most of us went through,” explained Besomorph about the release.
