The Broken Record Podcast returns for season 3 this week, if you haven’t tuned in it’s a must-listen interview series for music lovers. It’s brought to us by Pushkin and hosted by some of the greatest minds in music including legendary producer Rick Rubin, bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell, and former New York Times editor Bruce Headlam. In addition show producer Justin Richmond joins as the fourth co-host and the weekly presenter this season.

This week kicked off the Season’s first episode with Jack White & the Raconteurs. They discuss collaborating with Jay Z, why the collaboration didn’t work, and how they recycled it for a solo recording, plus a whole lot more!
The next episode is due for release Tuesday and will feature an interview with Tyler The Creator where he discusses his sound, the way he listens and interprets music. He also jams to his own songs on the Piano at Rubin’s Italian home in a rare moment as he recounts the structure of the best songs on his album Igor.
