Brooklyn Pacha Transforms the Great Hall into a Year-Round Dance Music Destination

The legendary nightlife brand Pacha is locking in a permanent, all-weather home in New York, transforming Brooklyn’s Great Hall into a massive new indoor club. Following the success of their open-air space this past summer, the new year-round venue will officially open its doors on November 6 and 7.

Clocking in at over 11,000 square feet, the sprawling warehouse space retains its gritty industrial roots with exposed architecture and ceilings reaching up to 23 feet. The room is designed to hold a 2,600-person crowd, merging a raw Brooklyn aesthetic with the high-end production Pacha is famous for globally.

Audiophiles can expect a heavy-hitting d&b audiotechnik system engineered to fill the massive room. The visual setup is equally staggering, anchoring the dancefloor with three huge 13-foot LED screens, a dozen secondary LED installations, and a rig of more than 450 lighting fixtures.

The launch weekend leans heavily into proper underground house and techno. Friday night’s inauguration will be steered by Loco Dice, Italian favourite Ilario Alicante, and rapidly rising selector HoneyLuv.

Saturday night shifts the focus to New York’s foundational sounds by hosting the 35th-anniversary bash for the iconic Nervous Records. The imprint has pushed out over 5,000 releases since 1991 and will celebrate the milestone with a stacked roster of house royalty, including Louie Vega, Oscar G, Anané, Will Automagic of The Carry Nation, and special guest Victor Calderone.

With this new indoor expansion, the 50-year-old nightlife empire is planting firm roots in the heart of one of the world’s most influential dance music hubs.
