One such artist with a renowned sense of invention is bad tuner, which becomes clearer than the skies above Tuscany with a singular listen of his new record, "Weather Report". It's his followup to the creative spectacle Operational Interfencer, an album that is a collaboration with Ian Urbina, a New York Times investigative journalist, which sees bad tuner utilize excerpts from his interviews and sounds derived from The Outlaw Ocean project. The album is so profoundly cool that I wish. I could rewind time to experience for the first time again. It's no wonder TOKiMONSTA brought him on-board for the Young Art Sound II compilation and is now releasing "Weather Report" on her label, Young Art Records.
Last week, Cassian released "Laps", another testament to his keen sense of artistry and dedication to his vision. It's his fourth release under the RÜFÜS DU SOL backed label and is my favorite thus far. While his previous releases have more of a commercial appeal, which I have also really enjoyed, "Laps" takes us to a different plane. A sonic outer space so to speak.
If you've been incessantly refreshing Instagram the past few days, you may have seen some unexpected posts from ODESZA and Golden Features. The artists revealed that they have collaborated on a new project titled, BRONSON. Fortunately for us, the wait to hear what the project may entail was not long and their first two singles have dropped.
