Electronic music titans Disclosure have teamed up once again with acclaimed producer Chris Lake for their vibrant new single, ‘one2three’, released today. The track, which features the soulful vocals of singer-songwriter Leven Kali, arrives via Disorder and Capitol Records.
After building anticipation for over a year, ‘one2three’ has finally been officially released, delivering on the hype generated within the global dance community. The song is a high-energy house stormer, driven by powerful grooves and a captivating, complex hook. Characterised by its dynamic and shifting textures, the production provides a euphoric backdrop for Leven Kali’s charismatic vocal performance.
The track has already enjoyed a life of its own in the lead-up to its launch. Teased extensively in live sets, it has received early support from a roster of influential DJs including Peggy Gou, FISHER, Jamie XX, and Barry Can’t Swim. A unique promotional strategy saw custom versions, or dubplates, of the song created for individual DJs, turning it into a sought-after underground favourite at clubs and festivals worldwide.
Disclosure explained, “Amazing to be in the studio once again with the legend Chris Lake, and the maestro that is Leven Kali. Thanks for all the love for this tune on the road and from the DJs, looking forward running it all over this tour!”
‘one2three’ marks the second major collaboration between Disclosure and Chris Lake, following their 2024 track ‘in2minds’. It also serves as a compelling follow-up to the duo’s recent release, ‘NO CAP’, which featured Anderson .Paak.
Said Chris Lake, “I’ve known the Disclosure guys and Leven Kali for years, so getting in the studio with them again for One, 2, Three felt natural but also a bit special. They’ve built such a unique sound and I’ve always respected how they approach groove and melody. To finally make something together to follow up In2Minds and see it come alive so quickly was a real honor. It’s a track that carries all three of our signatures, and making these custom dubs for our friends has been such a fun experience.”
The release of the much-awaited track coincides with Disclosure’s current North American headline tour, where fans will now have the chance to experience the full, official version of the song in a live setting.
