hypersonic Reveals Lineup For 2026, Their Second Year

Following its debut last year, electronic music event hypersonic Festival is returning this November for another two-city run.

Jointly presented by Symbiotic and Hardware, the 2026 edition retains its dual-city format. The festival is scheduled to take place at the Melbourne Showgrounds on Friday, 20 November, and Sydney’s Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, 21 November.

The multi-genre event will feature several stages covering EDM, techno, drum and bass, dubstep, hardstyle, tech-house, and dance-pop. The 2026 roster consists of international and local acts. Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren is returning to Australia to perform on the mainstage. Joining him are W&W, who will play their standard big-room sound, and outfit Showtek, who will focus on tracks from their electro-house with a few hardstyle records surely included. Rounding out the announced acts, UK duo Hybrid Minds will represent the liquid drum and bass genre. Other notable names include Chris Avantgarde, bringing his melodic techno sounds to the festival, Maddix is back in Aus, and set to drop his high-octane techno. Joris Voorn and Yotto will bring their house sounds also.

Presale registration for hypersonic Festival 2026 is open now ahead of the general ticket release.
