London-Based Producer Priyank Shah Unveils Immersive Concept Album ‘KSHATRA’

Priyank Shah has officially launched his highly anticipated 8-track concept album, KSHATRA. The album was released on August 14th and promises a deeply personal auditory journey exploring consciousness, memory, and emotional transcendence.
Shah’s latest project defies traditional genre limitations. He masterfully combines the immersive beats of EDM and dance-pop with the profound emotional resonance of Indian classical instruments. KSHATRA is designed as an audio-visual narrative that invites listeners into a cinematic world where the boundaries between reality and imagination are blurred.
The unique soundscape of the album features a sitar that navigates complex human emotions through the Nava Rasa framework. This is layered alongside a space-evoking santoor, ambient guitars, and organic environmental field recordings captured directly from Shah’s own backyard.
“When life feels stuck, the real conflict is often happening inside the mind. Each track represents a different psychological or spiritual state within that journey” explained Shah.
Every track on KSHATRA charts a distinct psychological or spiritual phase within a broader narrative journey. The album explores darker themes with the track ‘Demons’, which symbolises intrusive thought patterns and internal conflict. As the journey progresses, ‘Sartaj’ brings forward a sense of spiritual awakening and clarity. The track ‘Shree Ram’ uses the neurological sensation of frisson to inspire deep spiritual resonance, before the album gracefully concludes with ‘Surrender’, delivering an emotional exhale of ultimate peace and acceptance.
