Swedish House Mafia To Release New Single ‘Lifetime’ with Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake

Update: ‘Lifetime’ is set to be released soon, likely next week as today saw the release of ‘It Gets Better’.

Almost a decade since ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, Swedish House Mafia are preparing to release a new single. Fans have not been totally pleased with the trio since their underwhelming return in 2018, not everything went to plan. With COVID starting to become a thing of the past, now is time for their return.

Kicking off with posters in Melbourne, Australia; posters and billboards are now popping up in several locations including Times Square and their home of Stockholm. Now, evidence points towards their new single coming on Thursday.

An ad appeared on Spotify, seemingly an accident considering the song is not yet out. The ad showcased ‘Lifetime’ feat. Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake. What made the picture more realistic was that the image of Swedish House Mafia had not been seen anywhere before. All but confirming the collaboration was Jimmy Fallon’s upcoming schedule, which includes the trio and the two hip hop acts being the musical guest for the July 19th show.

Another notable clue is that Ty Dolla $ign is also on the management roster for Sal Slaiby, who Swedish House Mafia recently joined up with.

With different dates being on posters around the world (16th in Melbourne, 15th in Sweden/USA), it seems a global synchronized release on Thursday/Friday is likely. With Spotify being responsible for the Times Square, it was certain it would be new music related.

While nothing is 100% until there are confirmations from Swedish House Mafia themselves, the evidence is now too much to ignore. Thankfully, the boys are back!
