Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Tap Chris Lake For ‘Opalite’ Remix

The highly anticipated Chris Lake remix of Taylor Swift’s hit ‘Opalite’ has officially dropped on Spotify – initially being released only on Apple.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are big fans of Lake, who made for the perfect electronic artist to take on ‘Opalite’. Originally a breezy pop rock anthem from Swift’s 2025 album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, ‘Opalite’ has been completely revitalised. Chris Lake injects his signature groovy house vibes, creating a bed for Swift’s high-demand vocal. The throbbing basslines and energetic pacing give the song brilliant new life without losing the core melody that made the original so popular.

After spending two solid weeks producing the track in Ableton Live, Lake sent the final cut over to Kelce. The NFL star could not contain his excitement, telling Lake he would be playing it on every car ride and confirming that his fiancée, Swift, absolutely loved it.
