Miami Music Week is a jam-packed few days, that is full of networking, shows, experiences and catching up with friends which makes it a stand out throughout the music calendar.
Below, I will detail what a week looks like, taking you alongside to each event and experience that was attended. Giving you a picture of a week in Miami as someone who works in music journalism and business. For the sake of privacy, certain mixers will be unnamed.
Wednesday
Winter Music Conference
Winter Music Conference has been a staple of Miami Music Week for some time, but unfortunately had been absent in recent years. That changed this year with its long-awaited return—and it did not disappoint. Held at the iconic Eden Roc hotel, the conference made for an informative, educational, and energizing experience for artists, industry professionals, and fans alike.
This year’s program focused on a series of thought-provoking talks and panels featuring notable figures from the world of electronic music and beyond. Topics ranged from the evolution of dance music culture to the future of streaming, artist marketing, and innovation within the industry. The speakers brought real insight and experience to the table, offering valuable perspectives for anyone passionate about music and the business behind it.
Beyond the scheduled sessions, the real magic of WMC lies in the connections made—whether over coffee in the lobby or during casual chats after panels. There’s a shared energy among attendees who genuinely care about the future of electronic music, and it’s that spirit of collaboration that makes the event feel so special.
Its return couldn’t have come at a better time. As the music industry continues to evolve, WMC offers a much-needed space for education, inspiration, and community. Here’s hoping it becomes a permanent fixture once again during Miami Music Week.

Coldharbour x Black Hole Recordings
Coldharbour and Black Hole came together to do an epic trance fusion event, with acts across both rosters. Was a great time, especially for fans of the imprints.

COS Recordings
Cristoph and his label touched down in Miami, holding a day party featuring Cristoph and his label crew. They brought the melodic, progressive vibes to Miami – celebrating the release of his album coming the week after.
Maddix
Right next to Cristoph’s event, Maddix was holding his all day rave event, which sees him perform the entire time, whilst having friends come up for B2Bs throughout. From Oliver Heldens to FOVOS, to Fatima Hajji to Space 92 – there were some great guests.
Apple Music
Apple held their own mixer of sorts, highlighting their new DJ integration within Apple Music—a feature that now allows DJs to stream and mix Apple Music’s 100-million-track catalog directly within professional DJ software like rekordbox, Serato, and Denon’s Engine DJ. This integration brings curated playlists and seamless access to tracks, making it easier than ever for DJs to discover and perform with a vast array of music. It’s a significant step in bridging the gap between streaming services and live DJ performances.

Breakaway
Breakaway made a splash with a beachside event celebrating its newest imprint. Diplo and Hugel headlined a genre-diverse bill that teased some unreleased tracks and drew both fans and insiders alike. A brand that’s clearly pushing to become more than just a festival name.
1001Tracklists x DJ Lovers Club
1001Tracklists and DJ Lovers Club held their event on the roof at the Clevelander, which saw a range of artists come through for surprise sets upon a lovely backdrop.
Audien Presents: Progressive House Never Dies
Audien brought his Progressive House Never Dies concept to Miami again. Joining him were the likes of TELYKAST, Third Party, DubVision and more. For progressive house fans, there was no better place to be.
Factory Town
Following Audien, Factory Town was next on the agenda. Factory Town was insane, the huge venue had several events on at once, which allowed fans to walk around and get a different taste of music as you ventured around. From drum and bass, to hard techno, to house and melodic house – it was all covered. If you have yet to experience Factory Town’s it’s a must on your next opportunity.
Friday
EDMA Awards
The EDMA Awards were great, from Armin van Buuren to Alok to Hardwell, some massive artists came through to play a quick set and receive an award. It was a great experience and anyone attending WMC should come to experience a few crazy sets to start their day.
COYO Tacos
COYO Tacos celebrated its 10th anniversary by having a surprise set by Major Lazer (including Diplo). With hundreds of tacos and an amazing set, COYO Tacos certainly celebrated their birthday in style!

Sunday
Space
There is not much that motivates one to wake up at 6 am after Ultra. But Space, that certainly does that trick – especially when you have Innellea, Camelphat and Anyma playing. Experiencing Space was a wild time, especially when the fire alarm went off during Anyma, stopping the music for 15 minutes. Space is clearly not for everyone but it’s evident why those who love it, love it – it’s definitely a different beast.
Kaskade Boat Party
Running off a few hours of sleep, next up was Kaskade’s Boat Party, which was amazing, until it wasn’t. The invite-only experience was for a select number of fans and media. The huge boat was super fun, with Dave Summer kicking things off on the roof. But then it started raining; if you saw anything of Miami on Sunday afternoon, it was torrential. Having an outdoor party on the roof of a boat was not ideal whilst raining, but the fans held a tarp up over them, Kaskade and the equipment and made the best of it. At one point, all the CDJs died except one, meaning it was one song at a time (no transitions)! Whilst the rain was a dampener, it made for a memorable time!

Michael’s Genuine
After a whirlwind week, a proper meal was long overdue. Michael’s Genuine in the Design District delivered a perfect reset—steak tartare, confit duck, antelope, and the standout venison sausage pizza. It was the kind of meal that refuels your soul (and body) after six days of sensory overload. Highly recommend it to anyone wrapping up their week in Miami.
