FOMO Baku Announces Open-Air Festival for Azerbaijan Grand Prix Weekend

FOMO Baku is expanding its Formula 1 weekend celebrations with a new outdoor electronic music event, APEX AFTER DARK OPEN AIR.
Running from 24 to 26 September, the three-night festival will feature headline performances by ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan.
The event will take place at a purpose-built, 2,500-capacity venue on Baku Boulevard. Situated on the waterfront of the Caspian Sea, the site provides a new entertainment hub for international visitors attending the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

The music programme spans practice, qualifying and race day. Amsterdam duo ANOTR will open the event on Thursday, 24 September with a sunset set covering house, disco and funk. On Friday, 25 September, Jamie Jones will bring his signature Ibiza deep house sound to the waterfront dancefloor. Mahmut Orhan will close the weekend on Saturday, 26 September, performing shortly after the final chequered flag with his trademark blend of melodic house.
Anastasia Hajiyeva, FOMO Baku Co-founder says “We didn’t want to just throw a party for Grand Prix weekend, we wanted to give Baku something it’s never seen. APEX AFTER DARK takes everything FOMO has built inside the club and moves it out onto Baku Boulevard, right on the water’s edge, with ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan headlining three nights that’ll define the weekend. This is Baku stepping onto the map.”
