ILLENIUM’s brand new LP ‘Odyssey’ has finally arrived, marking a significant milestone as his first major release under Republic Records. The 19 tracks showcase the immense experience he has picked up across his many albums and career. The American artist skillfully blends a range of styles, from rock and progressive to acid, seamlessly weaving together diverse genres and outputs. It is clear that there are a number of pop leaning anthems designed for the big stage, while several offerings remain firmly underground for the long time fans. This balance ensures the album feels like a true ‘Odyssey’ rather than just a collection of singles.
The range of talent throughout the 19 tracks provides an eclectic list of collaborators. By bringing in a vast set of co-workers, ILLENIUM allows for several distinct musical tastes to shine through. Mainstream powerhouses like Kid Cudi on ‘Not Ordinary’ and Ryan Tedder on ‘With Your Love’ lean into that soaring anthem feel, while emotional ballads featuring Dean Lewis on ‘Take Me Back’ and Bastille on ‘Feel Alive’ anchor the album’s heart. Heavy hitting moments like ‘Slave to the Rithm’ with Bring Me The Horizon and ‘I’ll Come Runnin’ with Zeds Dead and Mako highlight his enduring rock and bass roots. While there are no clear records that stand out as immediate radio only hits destined for hundreds of millions of streams overnight, no record is bad. Everything is quite solid and well put together. ‘Odyssey’ is certainly a fantastic album that rewards a full front to back listen.
To celebrate the release, ILLENIUM is heading to the Las Vegas Sphere for a groundbreaking residency throughout early 2026. This run of shows is far more than a standard tour stop; it has been designed as the exclusive live home for the album, meaning this residency is the only place fans can experience ‘Odyssey’ performed in its entirety. ILLENIUM is leveraging the venue’s world record 16K resolution wraparound LED screen and the Sphere Immersive Sound system to create a multi sensory environment that blurs the line between a concert and cinema.
